Next Corgis

In 2002 a friend I knew from university, who was working for next retail, called me to say that they wanted to theme their store displays for the queen’s golden jubilee celebrations and wondered if I could help by making some dogs for their in-store mannequins to “walk”.

I created a design board with some sketches and the corgi was chosen along with a union jack neckerchief and lead. I ended up making 80 Corgis and they were on display at Next stores across the country.
